About Dr. Ronald Birnbaum, D.D.S., M.P.H.
Dr. Birnbaum was born and raised in New York.
At the age of 16 he decided he wanted to become a dentist.
After undergraduate university study from 1988-1992, he attended dental school at Columbia University, graduating in 1998 with the degree Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Master in Public Health (M.P.H.).
Dr. Birnbaum completed a Residency in General Practice Dentistry and Fellowship in Dental Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center (now Mount Sinai Hospital) in 1999.
He first worked for several years as a hospital dentist, for private practices and as an instructor/Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University.
He is Past-President of the Eastern Dental Society of Manhattan, and served for a number of years as a Member of the Board of the New York County Dental Society component of the New York State Dental Association, a member society of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Birnbaum is currently Assistant Attending on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital. He opened his own private practice in 2006. In 2018, as we celebrate our twelfth year and relocate the office to a new West 57th Street address, we hope you will join the thousands of patients we have welcomed and cared for.
